1900s Semi-detached Stone Built House - Horsforth

Renovation Project

Job Description

Stone repairs and lime pointing

The clients contacted Retrofit Projects in spring 2022 and requested a whole house retrofit survey. They were concerned about rising energy bills and also wanted to make significant improvements to the exterior of their home.

A detailed survey was carried out of the property. The house was solid stone construction with no cavity wall and significant external work was required.

The client’s priority was to deal with external works before any internal insulation work was undertaken.

The property needed significant up-grading and modernisation to make it warmer and more comfortable for the future, including new A-rated PVCu double glazed windows.

The survey and report provided by Retrofit Projects allowed the client to fully appreciate the extent of the work required, and the expected costs and duration of the project.
