The client contacted Retrofit Projects in the spring of 2025, and requested a whole house retrofit survey, including thermal imaging.

The client was very keen to know what improvements they could make to improve very cold bedrooms, and to improve the internal comfort of the first-floor rooms, they were concerned about rising energy bills, the house was draughty and not retaining heat, they also wanted to make some decorative improvements to the interior of their home.

A detailed survey and retrofit assessment covered all aspects of the property, the main area of concern was the loft area and external walls.

The survey and report provided by Retrofit Projects allowed the client to fully appreciate the extent of the remedial work required, and the expected costs of upgrading the insulation and duration of the project.
