STAGE 1
The work was done in two parts, the main project was to deal with significant salting and perishing plaster and internal dampness, including dealing with an existing solid concrete floor that did not have any form of damp proof membrane.
The entire ground floor was stripped out and all the old defective plaster was removed.
The property was heated and dried out before starting any remedial work.
STAGE 2
Ground floor remedial works.
Replastering using a renovating plaster system and specialist treatments to stop both dampness and salts returning in the future.
A liquid DPM was applied to the ground floor followed by a levelling compound.
The property was fully decorated, with all new skirting boards and internal joinery, as well as a fully modernised kitchen.
Working with the clients’ interior designer, and with a team of contractors, we were able to complete the project within the expected timescales.
All work undertaken is covered by a full guarantee on both labour and materials.
